Service Animals
Service animals, recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are welcomed in all states and at any AvantStay home. Our policy aligns with the ADA to ensure compliance.
Emotional Support Animals
While ESAs aren't covered by the ADA, AvantStay strives to accommodate them. However, rules may vary by state, and certain properties cannot host ESAs for reservations shorter than 30 days. This information will be included on our listings Home Truths if applicable.
AvantStay Policy
To maintain a positive experience for everyone, please ensure your service animal or ESA remains controlled. AvantStay reserves the right to request removal if the animal becomes disruptive, destructive, unhousebroken, or bothersome to neighbors. Service animals and ESAs should be supported at all properties, considering their role is to provide service or emotional support. AvantStay doesn't charge any upfront fees for service animals or ESAs. However, in the rare event that your service animal or ESA causes damage to our properties, AvantStay reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for any necessary property damage or extra cleaning.
